There has never been a 100% way to date when any Rolex was made since the letter serials started in 1987,only by the many charts on the net a approx date between X&Y years when the case or clasp was stamped.And because Rolex had sold countless millions of watches over those years they just ran out of single letter 6 number combinations.From the latter part of 2010 the random serials were started mixture letters numbers but now 8 digits that will last now for 50 years or more so all you have now is the warranty card or bill of sale when it was sold..
