It's whole history and DNA are intrinsically linked to diving, as is it's design, with the characteristic crown protecting system. One could, of course, use it exclusively as a dress piece and never have any issues with that, but to me that would betray the purpose of owning a Luminor Panerai. I certainly wouldn't get a 30m sub or sea dweller.

I've heard a lot of people say that the Due has moved away from Panerai's DNA. I'm not a fan and I'm not sure I could wear one but they do open the brand up to people with smaller wrists and those who'd like to wear a Luminor under, say, a dress shirt. and that's no bad thing my friend
