I think this depends on size preference (6 digit wears much bigger) and how much you care about or need the glidelock. I picked up a 5 digit from an AD (2003 model) and love it. My name on a warranty card was not worth 4-5k and I was able to get a perfect fit without the newer clasp. You will love either model that's for sure! Good luck
