The right decision for sure, it was just too big. I've gone back and forth on a number of offshores over the years and always the same result, I could slide two pens either side of my wrist under the strap and the overhanging lugs.
In the end I settled for a ROC, at 41mm. That too was eventually sold as after three years I decided it too was too big. My "Genta" itch was finally scratched with a 5711, and it fits like a glove! So go hunt that 5712 down.
