I understand the mixed feelings to a piece such as this. But my takeaway is that Rolex will still offer modern timepieces with special configurations in limited runs. And I'm not surprised Eric Ku was able to source one. His collection is the stuff of legends.
Ive always wondered what it would take to get a factory customized Rolex such as a Comex sub or Tiffany's double printed dial. I've also seen the Omani Crested dials as well as the AB Trucking Company printed dials. What does it take to convince Rolex to put your logo on their watch?
