Your dial calipers must be better than mine!!!! Visually, the 16700 and 16710 appear to have the same case dimensions which was the point I was trying to make - even with a very minimal difference. Sorry for the confusion. Below are a couple photos of a 16710 on top of a 16700.

"A" serials were the end-of-the-road for the 16700s - these should all have "SWISS" marked dials. Could there have been some with SWISS MADE marked dials, maybe, maybe not - I am not familiar with any of the SWISS MADE marked dials except for service dials on the GMT 16700. I have seen GMT II 16710 "A" serial number dials with the "SWISS MADE" super luminova dials.
