Good comments by others too. The way I look at it, it isn't always about "function" and sometimes a bit about "style". It can be useful, for the right situation. Or maybe, just to be 'different' when someone notices the extra hour hand.
I'm on the hunt for one now, and looking for what the watch offers as I mentioned above. :)
