Mine is a R series with sapphire crystal and must be one of the last if not the last (from the 99 and 99 pieces) that sold from the Panerai boutique in Florence.
I have noticed that the grey market prices for the 605 (in general) are around the retail price. The price I paid in boutique was 8.900 €. I have seen prices in the range of 9.500 to 10.000 €. The above at 9.555 USD or 7.685 € was such a bargain !
Have your antennas on and patience will finally get you there.
