Big Green, I am so happy to know that you are okay. I've been riding since I was 14 (now 51), so I hate hearing these stories ... but I am thankful that you are good.
Such a shame for such a beautiful watch. Seeing this reinforces my practice of wearing my G-shock when riding, skiing, boating/water skiing, etc.
I agree that if the watch is fixable, do it and have a wonderful storied watch on your wrist that has seen your worst times and many more good times.
