Here is a good example of what they do. Lets say you are selling a strap or watch and a member in good standing sends you a PM or email and says Im having a problem viewing your post with Tapatalk about your strap for sale is this the link to it? www.xxxxx.xxx You see its a good member with 500 plus posts and good feedback because you check first before you respond. So you click on the link and it takes you to a page that looks just like the Rolex forums. Oh but wait you have to sign in to see if its your post he is talking about. So with your guard down you sign in and now they have your login info. He or they take over your account and try to sell something on the forum before they are caught.

Its very hard for the mods to keep up with these scammers but they do a good job. Just don't ever click on a link someone sends you even if you think they are a good member because their account was probably hacked.
