Thanks guys - good info.

However, I just thought of something...

Doesn't Rolex engrave the serial number between the lugs at 6:00, and the MODEL number between the lugs at 12:00? (Pre-rehaut engraving of course)

Therefore, the model number would be either 16610 -or- 16610LV.

Wouldn't that verify that the original watch is, in fact, a "Kermit"? (LV = Lunette Verte)
