It’s not about other brands. The 36mm DJ and 40mm were the standard Rolex sizes for nearly 60 years, so the recent blip of people wanting larger Rolex watches may be short lasting until we return to the mean. We’re already seeing more guys buying 34mm-36mm around here these days.

In the ‘80s, collecting little vintage Rolex Bubblebacks became all the rage, until they weren’t, and, similarly, I think the larger watch trend is winding down.
