From high end to daily wear, I think Seiko is definitely getting broader appreciation among 'serious' collectors/buyers outside Japan, especially GS, some of the Prospex line, and certainly vintage (especially early chronographs, certain King Seikos and pretty much all Grand Seikos). There are several good Seiko forums and sub forums online now, and a growing number of quality Youtube reviews of current and vintage Seiko models.

I should, of course, have included dive watches in this list of collectibles.
