A Rolex people do. Thats the thing about Rolex, it has become a name almost everyone recognizes. In the middle on nowhere Montana, i wear my Pateks when visiting my hometown. Wearing a Rolex which actually costs a fraction of the price people have accused me of "showing off". Its not a place where its advantageous to have things no one else does. Patek, no one has heard of it so it could be a Timex for all they know.
In general people have limited awareness of almost every watch brand, but with a Rolex they know the name, and they think its the most expensive brand, which it isnt.
