Beautiful pair Ken. I have been struggling to justify spending that kind of money for a watch that says "Seiko" on it for 2 years. I finally pulled the trigger on a SBGA211 about 2 months ago and seeing an endorsement from a collector like you makes me think I am not a total idiot after all. It was not love at first sight but I think someone has said they are a "loupe watch". I was carrying a 10x loupe in my pocket for the first 2 weeks (yeah I know I need help). The more you look into the watch the more you discover how incredibly well finished the watch is. Nothing in that or double the price range even come close. I know a lot of purists look down their nose on the Spring Drive but to me it is a very unique technology that is every bit a mechanical movement. I have worn it for a month straight and it lost 0 seconds! I tried to rotate out with my other watches but I just keep putting it back on because I miss seeing that incredible dial, markers and hands.
