Given this I find it shocking what the blueberry insert changes hands for.

IMHO non of these every came on a Rolex from the factory nor were they military blueberry and all the other made up stories etc. My only conclusion is that the bezel manufactures themselves made them along with the normal ones we see either to show as samples of what they can do (prototype) or by error ,mistake etc. There has never been a part number associated with any of these odd colored inserts that i know of.
