The cyclops is a question of taste / preference but otherwise, the looks, proportions along with the accuracy make it a real winner

I like how you think but that's not the case here. In fact, the circular portion of the seconds hand is barely seen passing the cyclops and as it is closer to the cyclops' inner-edge, it will be less magnified. Bottom line, it's (still) much smaller than the hour-hand's (or markers, for that matter).
