Not surprised at all. The car still had the balance of a factory warranty and I fully expected service costs and routine maintenance.

The transmission replacement was paid for by BMW, again when the car had 22K miles. Not sure what that has to do with buying pre-owned or even a normal part to wear out at that mileage. They acted like this was a normal day to day occurrence.

After coming in for service one time, the service advisor told me "we found some leaks" (BMW standard feature) and you can "stop by anytime for a free leak check".

So let me get this straight, these cars leak so much that the dealer provides a free leak check service?

Sorry, too old to put up with this brand any longer.
