Well it really depends. its my personal opinion that the watch community will appreciate the elegance of the dial and thinner case of the 15400 more, however like most watches they might grow on people over time. Lets not forget also that 15500 has a movement that is no slouch.
I do believe that the 15500 will be much more difficult to get in comparison to how hard it was to get the 15400.
All these factors combined I believe the secondary market value of the 15400 will maintain for now and not take a dip. At least in the short term. Only time will tell the long term value retention though.
