The point is, are you seriously going to go swimming, shower, or dip it in coffee, etc? Are these daily activities you do with your watch? If so, the 15400 can still handle the activities (besides diving).

99% of buyers won't do any of water related activities besides the odd occasion of rain. And if the person somehow needs a watch that can do all that, its more than likely that individual has another watch more robust to take a true beating.

The RO is classified historically as a sports watch, but in reality is has never been one for a very long time. Don't get fussy about water resistance. It can handle a spray of water.
