I almost bought a WG and I have RG but will unlikely buy a YG unless my taste changes some time before I die. :)
I think yellow gold with olive dials are pretty but usually RG would look better in the same dial. I love WG for the feel.
Most people who think that WG looks like SS probably never experienced a WG watch. Of course if you care what others think when they see your watch then yes YG would incite more response. :)
That's just me so everyone is different and for some especially those with darker skin YG is beautiful.
