Normally, I'd agree as I have relatively small wrists. But the 40mm FF (milspec, BOCiii) wears pretty small. If you are coming from a sub or speedmaster for instance, you would likely think it was a 38mm. I'd be afraid, given the recent trend for larger sport watches, that the average person would think the 40mm FF wore too small.
