Sad, but probably the most practical advice. You just can’t be sure of any ‘relationship’ with an AD. The pressure on them is too great. If you are determined to pay retail, find a Jewellers outside London, use the purchase of a gold model to lever a steel one.
I tried that, didn’t work! Good luck.
Btw: you can get an easy 10% off a PM model, maybe 15%.
