How timely to spot this post. Something just went off in me about a GS Quartz. I had a nice SBGA001 spring drive for a short while a few years ago and it didn't last. I found it a little too big and bulky. The height of the quartz models is appealing to me, especially on a 37mm case like the 263 or 271. The price... still expensive but a lot less than the spring drive automatics. I daresay the quartz is a watch to be proud of and the technology behind it is just amazing...
