I have a local guy looking for some more information on a family watch. It appears to be approximately a 1963 gilt dialled gmt with pointed crown guards. No idea of serial, but from my research it should be around the 1 million mark?
My knowledge /experience is lacking with more vintage of rolexes and was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind letting me know what you think of the watch?
The dial looks to have some lume loss on the plots, and the hands don't look to match? Does the case look ok?
I do understand that the photos are rubbish, but the owner swore these were the best ones he could get, but would try again later.
I'll hopefully be able to have a look in person in the future and get some better photographs, view under loupe and UV as well, which I can add later.
