I have a couple Rolex w/ ceramic bezel (BLNR / SubC / DaytonaC) and none have any of the numbers coming off. For reference I know it's a thin layer, but I've been wearing my BLNR and SubC while still in the military and have yet to see any fade or missing coating in the numbers. Can happen but these are pretty solid pieces and can take what you can throw at them.
