The 4130 has a column wheel and vertical clutch. Column wheel chronographs like the 4130 and Omega 321 can be run 24/7 if desired and it puts no extra stress or wear on the rest of the movement. The 4130 is also integrated rather than being an ebauche stacked on top of a time movement, lessening the overall number of components that "wear". In total the 4130 only has 203 pieces.
In short, you can use your chronograph second hand as your main second hand if desired and run it 24/7. Power reserve on the 4130 is rated with the chronograph running. It's actually a few hours longer with it stopped.
