I do this with my watch. I'll set it a minute and a half or so slow, then reset it in two months when it's a minute and a half fast (my watch is about +3 now, but varies from +1.5 to +4 depending on how I wear it).

curious what you mean by "how you wear it?" i just got my 2008 sub 5 days ago and i am trying just to wear it relatively same hours each day and lay dial up at night to get an average on it, about +4.5 so far.
thinking of resetting it each saturday at 6am. should be +32 or so by then
