Rock both brands.
Ideally, if you are looking at RMs, you shouldn't have to trade your PP or any other watch for that matter.
Both are great brands for different reasons. People say RM doesn't have much heritage, which is no doubt true, instead, they bring innovation and a new design language, as well as a higher level of performance. I get that their watches can be divisive and not everybody likes them- but the same applies for PP or any other brand.
Most guys I know that have RMs, also have PPs, APs, Rolex watches and so on.
