I had the titanium version and replaced the batteries in mine 3 times during my ownership. It's a pretty easy process if you have the right size screw driver and a case opener. I used to have a go-by that I saved so I'll see if I can locate it. My other suggestions are to be sure to wear rubber gloves and have a open and clean surface to work on - keep any contaminates out of the case.
