Must say I don't think there is a gap in quality between Rolex and Omega, I reckon Omega is as good, type for type, as Rolex, if not in some ways better. For instance, both my Deep Seas had sloppy bezels, in that you could kind of rock it backwards and forwards, whereas the bezel on my new PO is solid and gives a much higher quality feel.
