In my industry you have to talk in TLA (three letter acronyms) or FLAT (four letter acronyms too) all the time or you could lose creditibility.
KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid. I use it all the time. I'm in IT design and people always want to over-engineer b/c they have all these fab ideas. Problem is maintaining these fabulous ideas over time, more often than not they are not fabulous. So, screws work and if they do get damaged, you can replace them with some custom push pins.
