Absolutely, yes. I also find myself feeling some guilt and disconnectedness from what is happening. I’m sitting here warm (even though it’s 9 degrees F) and safe in the evergreen forest while not far away, people are sick or dying, and essential workers in society are risking everything to keep the rest of us fed, safe and comfortable.
The worst moment in my day is when the peaceful escape of the night’s sleep is suddenly replaced by grim reality.
