OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer".
In the case of Rolex that means Rolex.
In the case of OEM car parts it means parts made by an outside company that supplies parts for Ford but can also sell the same part under their own brand name outside of the Ford dealer network,in England these are known as pattern parts.
Aftermarket parts are made by non OEM comanies and sometimes people tend to confuse the two because they do not understand the difference.
In the aircraft industry parts are mostly OEM sold under their OEM name to Boeing or Airbus or any other aircraft company.
