I would have laughed hysterically at an AD telling me that Rolex does not have dust in their manufacturing facility! I dont think I have had a Rolex yet that did not have dust under the crystal.
My local watchmaker has a clean room that all work is done in. They DO wear gloves, masks, hats, lab coats and covers over shoes. The room is sealed so well that there are two doors that you must go through and when they are opened it makes that cool swooshing sound.
He has told me even under these conditions occasionally something will get under a crystal.
