I don't see it really as an issue. If you are rotating between 2-3 watches, 48 hours is plenty and if you have a lot more to rotate through the week, >4, you should probably already have a high end watch winder.
Some of my manual wind watch only has 28 hours reserve and I never feel that it is any less than a Rolex. :-)
