I received the same message today except it was emailed (not PM). Same initial message and name. I replied telling him "shame on you" and the scammer has not replied.

Couple things:

"Tony" is a very common nickname for Anthony (just like Bob for Robert, Chuck for Charlie, etc.)...so I wouldn't necessarily say that is a red flag.
