I prefer black faces, aluminum bezels, and old bracelets/clasps, anyways.
Still, I'd be unlikely to buy any modded Rolex that isn't reversible. This is the kind of thing you only do assuming you'll never sell it, and, if that's the case, do whatever makes you happy.
