It’s been a while since I posted and this thread is long, but I’ll opine and say my preference is the 5712. I prefer the asymmetrical combo of functions & think patek got them right. Also love the movement with the micro rotor. Never really sought out the Nautilus (my first patek was the 1st gen aquanaut) but this one for me was love at first sight. No wait - found it at an AD by chance and picked it up a couple of years ago with a moderate discount the same day. Zero buyers remorse & the price increase is just an added bonus, but no plans to flip. It’s a keeper.
