GMT 16710 was produced in very high numbers. The current asking prices are difficult to understand.
Perhaps heresy, but IMHO the 16710 has a number of advantages over the 6-digits GMTs that for some justify the high prices.

For example there's the ability to easily change bezel inserts and bracelets, the reliability and accuracy of the 3185 movement compared to timekeeping problems with a substantial percentage of 3285s, and the granularity of 120 click bezels versus the 24 click bezels of the 6-digits.
