This is good news, not so much from a selfish perspective, but firstly because the staff at my GP practice are utterly terrified (and needlessly so, for the most part, I think). I rather suspect many of them will be pleasantly surprised to find they’ve already been infected, which in turn will boost morale for the serious uptick in workload I anticipate in the coming weeks. Secondly we might be able to keep most of the doctors and nurses in the building instead of everybody with a cough instantly having to self isolate.
