The scam is, when you send them an email, they respond back to that email with a fake phishing email clamining to have sent the funds via paypal. It looks pretty legit too, i had it sent to me once. Except i always verify on the authentic paypal website, and i realized there really was no payment, the email was a phony. So i sent the email to paypals spoofing email address and had the guys ebay account deleted :)
