Check out bluemountaingreenbeans.com. They have both green and roasted BM for ~$30/lb.
My personal favorite is Brazilian yellow bourbon. It's a smooth, rich, earthy, chocolatey cup of coffee. I've roasted just about every bean out there over the past 12 years and this is definitely at the top of my list. Just personal preference. There really isn't a right or wrong answer. I also use an Aeropress to make my coffee and grind the beans real fine.
I'm more than happy to help anyone who wants to get into roasting their own coffee. It's work, but well worth it to have fresh coffee.
