Can you please share more about that King Quartz?
More info or shots?

Seiko originally had two factories who it originally had compete against each other to further the name of seiko in watch making. One was grand seiko and the other was king seiko, and they denoted their factory and watches with certain emblems to show which factory they came from. Suwa seikosha used a whirlpool like symbol and daini seikosha used a thunderbolt looking like symbol.

The king seiko I have shows the daini symbol and the grand seiko shows the suwa symbol.

Another interesting symbol is the "rockets" looking symbol on my king seiko that shows two "rockets". This shows that the watch uses two quartz, one for time keeping and for thermocompensation, to achieve more accuracy, something you see on the grand seiko quartz today! If there's one "rocket" then the watch is using one quartz crystal.

I believe this is pretty accurate, someone more knowledgable could correct me!
