Take your watch to the nearest AD or Boutique branch, and put it side by side with the same or nearest equivalent model, and compare the two.
Only then can you be absolutely sure (and have proof) that yours has been overpolished and to what degree – slightly, a fair bit, or easily noticeable.
Yes, it will be a bit of an inconvenience, but at least you’ll have a definitive answer without relying on memory, which can often be mistaken.
