I have a roughly 6.25 inch wrist, and my BLNR fits fine. It has a nice low profile which works for me, so I think your wrist size would have no problem. Try one on to be sure!
Regarding if the GMT hand will be lost on you, depends really. I use it to keep time of other offices I work with, and family abroad mostly. Would you use it for that? Maybe just having a cool complication is all it needs to be?
Either way, the BLNR is a great looking watch, goes with a lot of clothes/situations, and I don't think you can go too far wrong with it :)
