I think the cost/complexity of fabricating one additional case that doesn't have to be will outweigh the desire to prevent bracelet interchangeability. That's doubly true if the current BLNR case would have to be modified in any way to accommodate the new movement.

More likely, like in the old days, the GMT will be the watch available with either bracelet style (with the re-cased BLNR being available with Jubilee and the Pepsi with Oyster).
