It’s basically a timegrapher attachment. I own a standalone unit I bought on eBay and it seems to work pretty well. I have tested various watches over the years and most were pretty accurate other than when they were clearly needing service. Although I haven’t yet pulled my timegrapher out of storage to measure, on the wrist, my Aquanaut has been surprisingly accurate. I keep my watches on a winder in view of an atomic clock. I usually have to adjust my AP 1-2 minutes but almost never have to adjust the Patek.
