Here's what I took from the previous 134 posts--two consenting adults willfully entered into, and consummated, a business transaction under mutually-agreeable terms.

That being said, perhaps the OP gave the wrong impression in his first post by being too "gleeful" about the deal he had found?

In my opinion, he took a risk by buying it. How would this thread read if the original post was "bought a watch from a guy in a truck for $900, turned out to be a fake". To take it further, what if OP said "bought a watch from a guy in a truck...he wanted $900 but I paid him $3000 instead, turned out to be fake".
