I believe this charity is simply wonderful. They take very poorly children (some terminal) on a trip of a lifetime (without parents) to Florida fully supported by an army of doctors, nurses and other specialists.
It was set up by a BA stewardess in the 1980’s I believe. They get a Special BA flight with pilots in fancy dress, motorcade from US police who do wheelies etc on their motorbikes and absolutely everyone involved every step of the way are just incredible human beings.

My wife works with one of the medical volunteers who uses her annual leave for each trip and her stories of how people all come together to give the children a once in a lifetime trip always brings me to tears.
